ABOUT THE POSITION

MGM Group is a family owned and operated private company based in various locations across Western Australia. MGM has several decades of logistics experience within the bulk haulage industry, servicing mining companies that require bulk haulage, storage, ship loading, rail loading and stockpile management services.

The MGM Bulk division commenced in 2014 and has experienced rapid growth since its inception. We are looking for a part time Accounts Officer/Administrator to join our team to cover a 11-12 month maternity leave period.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following accounts and administrative tasks:

  • Accurate matching of purchase orders to supplier invoices
  • Entering of supplier invoices into accounting system
  • Reconciliation of supplier monthly statements and other Accounts Payable tasks as required
  • Maintain supplier records for QA
  • Management of uniforms, including ordering and distribution to all branches
  • Processing and payment of vehicle licenses (rego’s)
  • Monthly analysis and processing of telephone and electricity costs
  • Monitoring and maintaining stationary and other orders
  • Scanning, saving and filing documents
  • General administration tasks as required
  • Provide back up support to other members in Accounts team

Essential requirements:

MYOB experience will be desirable, but not essential

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint etc.)

Work autonomously at times to complete tasks

Good time management skills

Work well with others to ensure team cohesiveness and achievement of goals

Sustain a positive attitude and outlook within the workplace
