Branch Administration Assistant

ABOUT THE POSITION

MGM Group is a family owned and operated private company with over 50 years’ experience within the bulk haulage industry, servicing mining companies that require bulk haulage, storage, ship loading, rail loading and stockpile management services.

We are looking for a Branch Administrator Assistant to join our team.  This is a residential position.

The successful applicant will be required to do the following:

  • Accurately enter and reconcile transport dockets
  • Process payroll information accurately from transport dockets
  • Maintain electronic filing and record keeping systems
  • Book flights and accommodation for our FIFO employees
  • Raise purchase orders in accordance with MGM purchasing procedure
  • Maintain and control office stocks
  • Assist with uniform orders
  • Prepare and maintain documents in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrate flexibility with hours as some weekend and public holiday work may be required

  • Provide an exceptional service to both internal and external customers
  • Sustain a positive attitude and outlook within the workplace
  • Completed Year 12 or equivalent
  • Drivers licence

Previous experience within an administrative role in the transport industry will be advantageous but is not essential as we are able to provide training to the right applicant. The successful applicant must have a strong safety focus and will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and comply with the MGM drug and alcohol policy.
