MGM has several decades of logistics experience within the bulk haulage industry, servicing mining companies that required bulk haulage, storage, ship loading, rail loading and stockpile management.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has previous experience working in a human resources role at a management level. 

The successful applicant will hold tertiary qualifications and be able to demonstrate previous experience with the following:

Essential requirements:

  • Developing and implementing HR policy and procedure 

  • Mentoring managers and leaders across the organisation on facilitating HR practices within their branches

  • Effectively managing staff recruitment, training & development, performance appraisals, retention and terminations

  • Undertaking performance management, counselling, discipline, grievance processes and mental wellness initiatives

  • Maintaining and updating information relating to Awards, Long Service Leave and Superannuation entitlements

  • Ensuring compliance with current legislation and report various HR metrics to management

  • Leading with a focus on continuous improvement and a positive 'can do' attitude
